Helicopter Rides
Service Description
Helicopter Ride (7 minutes in flight) Take a ride over Clow Cavalcade. This includes: ~A briefing on how to enter and exit the helicopter safely ~What you should and should not do. ~Then you will be brought to the helicopter and helped by student helicopter pilots who will help you get strapped in, and your headset on. Where you will be whisked away into the air for a 7 minute flight above the festivities. Limitations: ~You can have up to 3 adult riders and (*1)3 children (6 and younger) who will ride on the adults lap. ~The seat belt must fasten across all riders (over the child if riding on an adults lap) ~Lap rider and or adult riders are subject to a 300 pound seat capacity and are subject to weighing for verification. ~Riders can be split into multiple rides if weight and balance is an issue.(*2) ~All riders should be back at least 15 minutes in advance of their scheduled time slot. If riders are not back we will do our best to work you in later in the day, however you will be flying "stand by" ~No Refunds except for a cancellation due to weather or mechanical breakdown *1 If the front doors are off lap rides will be limited to two as no lap riders will be permitted next to a removed door. *2 If riders need to be split into multiple loads for weight and balance additional fees may apply.
Cancellation Policy
~ Includes briefing on how to enter and exit the helicopter safely, and 7 minutes in the air ~You can have up to 3 adult riders and 3 children (6 and younger) who will ride on the adults lap (*1). ~The seat belt must fastened across all riders (over the child if riding on an adults lap) ~Lap rider and or adult riders combined weight must be less than the 300 pound seat capacity and are subject to weighing for verification. This is an FAA requirement and strictly enforced. ~Riders can be split into multiple rides if weight and balance is an issue.(*2) ~All riders should be back at least 15 minutes in advance of their scheduled time slot. If riders are not back we will do our best to work you in (later in the day), however you will be flying "stand by". ~To reschedule please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. It will be subject to availability and potentially a rescheduling fee at the discretion of RAC management. ~No Refunds except for a cancellation due to weather or mechanical breakdown. ~ All rides that occur with in operational hours of the Clow Cavalcade of Planes require admission to the event in order to access the helicopter ride. ~ Cost of helicopter ride does NOT include event admission fee. *1 If the front passenger door is off (summer events) lap rides will be limited to two as no lap riders will be permitted next to a removed door. *2 If riders need to be split into multiple loads for weight and balance additional fees may apply. To be safe a per group weight of 675 pounds (combined weight of all riders) or less should be maintained. If you have a larger group weight than this you will most likely be split into multiple groups.pply.
